Sessions of health and wellbeing will celebrate the life of Cody Atzori, while raising money for charity.

Ian Iansson will be hosting the breathwork sessions, with money raised going to Soundcheck.

Hosted at S P A C E on March 25, there are two sessions from 8.30am to 10am and 1pm to 2.30pm.

Cody, a talented musician, died in 2021, aged just 17, as well as living through music, he used the Wim Hof technique, both the breathing techniques and cold water therapy, to help with his bipolar disorder and anxiety.

His mum Liz told us: ‘He attended some of Ian’s classes and when I asked Ian if he’d host the event he was extremely happy to he’s doing two breath work sessions at Space yoga studio at 8.30am and then at 1pm. We chose to donate to soundcheck charity because Cody was a self taught pianist who was very passionate about music and performing we are sure he’d love to support other young musicians.’

Ian said: ‘I feel very honored to have been asked to do this event. Cody was a wonderful young man, who I first met at one of my first ever breathing sessions at mother T’s in Laxey. Cody loved the Wim Hof method and found it really helped him with his mental health.’
