Arts Council on the Hunt for Two New Members
Successful applicants will serve voluntary four year term
Do you frequently find yourself thinking, at all times of the day and night, ‘you know what? I bloody LOVE art.’
You do? Then I have news for you, my art-loving friend, that will make you as happy as Van Gogh in one-sided earmuff shop. The Isle of Man Arts Council is on the lookout for not one but two new members.
Applications are welcome from people with experience in ANY art form who are interested in progressing the goals and objectives of the Arts Council.
Those successful will serve a voluntary four-year term, which would include attending up to ten meetings throughout the year on top of other cultural and arts events you’ll be invited to to represent the Council.
As well as all these cool, arty shindigs, members will offer advice in the allocation of funding for arts venues, projects and events throughout the community, and help in contributing to the ongoing development of the Tynwald approved National Development Strategy for Culture and the Arts in partnership with Culture Vannin.
Applications close on Friday 19th July 2024. If you forget, you may end up filled with bitter disappointment and remorse. Which could make for nice fuel to get into the mindset of a one-person performance of Hamlet. Which is an art event so it’s a win-win situation.
