Yes, you read that right. If you had a lapse in concentration and left your supplies behind, the Commissioners have kindly ensured its safe return – though we imagine there might be a few questions waiting for you when you go to claim it.

This latest lost property announcement comes as Town Commissioners grow increasingly fed up with the mess left behind in local shelters, including food cartons, broken glass, and, for reasons best left unexamined, public urination.

In response, the Commissioners have asked the police to increase patrols in the area to curb the rise in anti-social behaviour, which has also plagued the town’s toilets.

Just last month, they had to deal with low-level anti-social behaviour at all of Castletown’s public facilities overnight.

So, to whoever is wandering around town wondering where their Star Dog went – your ziplock of dreams is safe and sound at the police station.
