Clarkson’s Hawkstone Lager Hits The Island
Hold onto your pint glasses, folks!
Grain and Vine, the bar on Victoria Road, Douglas, has just pulled off a first for the Isle of Man – and it’s a pretty big deal.
Introducing Hawkstone Lager, the brainchild of TV star, professional grumpy farmer and former island resident Jeremy Clarkson!
That’s right, straight from his famous Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire, Hawkstone Lager is now flowing from the taps at Grain and Vine.
And here’s the kicker: it’s the first time Hawkstone’s been on tap outside of the UK!
You’ve got two new boozy treats to try: the 4% session lager, which promises to be light, refreshing, and a bit biscuity, and the 4.8% Hawkstone IPA – packed with tropical flavours and a hoppy kick.
Bottles of the famed beer are available elsewhere on the island, namely EVF garages.
But Grain and Vine is serving draft beauties from 12pm daily until late.
Gef will certainly be popping in to see what all the fuss is about this weekend – will you?
