Coastguard in Dog Rescue

Douglas and Ramsey Coastguards were called this afternoon to reports of a dog that had fallen over the cliff at the bottom of Dhoon Glen.

Both teams working together were quickly able to establish the location of the dog and set up a holdfast to enable a Cliff Tech to be lowered to the dog.

Fortunately, the four legged fella was not injured and the Coastguard were able to recover and reunite the dog with its grateful owner.
