Cummins’ Coffee Shop to Close

Conor Cummins has announced that his Conrod’s Coffee Shop in Ramsey is to close.

The TT star grew the business from a coffee cart into the shop on Parliament Street.

He is blaming industry pressures and uncertainty for the decision.

Conor said: ‘It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that we will be closing the doors of our Conrod’s Coffee Shop, Parliament Street, Ramsey on January 20 2023. There are many factors that have contributed to this very difficult decision which we have tried to work through but with the many uncertainties surrounding the hospitality industry at present and the rising operating costs, regrettably the time has come to close.

‘Please accept my sincere thanks for all of your fantastic custom and support since we opened in 2018, it is greatly appreciated. I would also like to pass on my gratitude to our hard working staff for the last five years. I wish them the best for the future.’

Since opening the coffee shop in 2018, Conrod’s has also expanded into a pizzeria in Ramsey’s Mooragh Park, this is not affected by this closure.
