Cuts For a Cause!
If you’re in need of a fresh cut and want to do some good this Christmas, Dolyn’s Barber Shop in Port Erin has you covered.
This Saturday, December 21, from 10am to 2pm, Dolyn is running a ‘pay what you can’ day to help those who might struggle to afford a haircut during the festive season.
It’s simple: walk in, get a sharp new look, and pay whatever you can afford.
Every penny raised will go straight to the Isle of Man Foodbank, helping local families in need.
This is the second year Dolyn has run the initiative, with last year’s event raising around £350.
He’s hoping to match or beat that amount this time around.
Speaking about the event, Dolyn said: ‘Christmas is an expensive time of year, and I’m sure there are many who struggle to cover everything.
‘This is just a small gesture to anyone it may help. I think the foodbank is a good cause, as they also buy presents for children.’
With no social media page to spread the word, Dolyn is relying on the good old-fashioned community spirit of Port Erin.
So, if you’re in the area, pop by Orchard Road, grab a haircut, and support a fantastic local cause.
Whether you’re after a tidy-up or just want to donate to the Foodbank, Dolyn’s Barber Shop is the place to be this Saturday.
