Isle of Man Up for Europe’s Top Island Award (Again!)

The Isle of Man is once again in the running for Most Desirable Island in Europe at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2025.

We first got nominated last year (Sri Lanka pipped us to the post), but now we’re back for round two, and Visit Isle of Man wants all the support we can get.

The award pits us against some serious holiday heavyweights, think Gran Canaria, Madeira, Sicily and even our pals in Jersey and Orkney.

A Visit Isle of Man spokesperson said: ‘Another nomination for the Extraordinary Isle! If you love our island as much as we do, please take a moment to cast your vote and show your support.’

Voting is free, takes about five minutes, and could help us bring home some serious travel bragging rights.

So, if you reckon our little rock is the most extraordinary island in Europe (we do), get your vote in before October 27. Winners will be revealed at a fancy do in London on November 5.
