July’s Most Read
Yes it is indeed the last month of July already, but what a month we’ve had.
In a month that has seen some incredible highs and terrible lows, here is what you’ve been reading.
Our top story of the month saw us take a tour of the Steam Packet’s new flagship Manxman. With a video (with questionable music) featuring Marown’s very own Tom Curphey, it seems that none of us could get enough of the new ship.
Our second most read also featured Manxman and related to her entry into service with the Steam Packet saying that the Ben-my-Chree will continue to do the night boats for the time being.
The opportunity to own an institution was our third most read piece, as we revealed that Peel’s Marine is up for sale.
A sad case before the courts was also widely read as we detailed how a daughter is carrying on her father’s bid to prove medical negligence against Manx Care.
The other top item of the month came from the tragic events at the Southern 100 where rider Alan Connor and marshal Liam Clarke lost their lives.
As ever thank you for taking time to email us, read our news and for coming on the journey, it’s very much appreciated and if there’s something you think we’ve missed, email us hello@gef.im.
