Kiki’s and Drew Shortlisted for Awards

Kiki Lounge and Drew Fleming of Extra Fancy Limited have been shortlisted for the UK’s CLASS Bar Awards. 

Kiki Lounge has been nominated ‘Bar Employer of the Year’ which acknowledges the company’s commitment to creating a positive working environment for its team, while Drew Fleming has accomplished a lot in his young career, including being awarded the ’50 Best Bars The Blend Scholarship’ in October 2022. 

The winners will be announced on May 23rd at the Battersea Arts Centre in London.

In October 2022 Drew was the inaugural recipient of The 50 Best Bars ‘The Blend Scholarship’. Which saw drew undertake stages working for both The Connaught Bar in London and Katana Kitten in Manhattan, NYC. Drew said he’s relished the opportunity to apply his new learnings back on the island and improve the level of service at KiKi Lounge once more.

Drew’s passion for growing and improving the hospitality sector on the Isle of Man, supporting local businesses, and showing off the island to the world has led him to create a series of content focusing on the unique perks and challenges that come with operating a hospitality business in a remote location. Drew’s efforts were further acknowledged in November 2022 when he was awarded the ‘Young Ambassador of the Year’ at the Isle of Man Awards for Excellence.

The winners of the CLASS Bar Awards will be announced on 23rd May 2023 at Battersea Arts Centre in London.
