Good news for drivers, the works to resurface Braddan Bridge have completed and the road will likely be fully reopen by the time you read this (it’s due to open at 4pm).

Highway Services have resurfaced Braddan Bridge on Peel Road, from the junction with Braddan Road to the Braddan Church roundabout and the Jubilee Oak roundabout.

The work got underway on January 10 and has been finished in under three weeks, even with crews being redeployed to help with storm damage and temperatures delaying some plans.

The DoI said: ‘We would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst carriageway improvement works were underway.’
