QR Codes Are Not Stamps
The Post Office has kindly asked islanders to make sure they are putting stamps on items going through the mail.
A number of items have popped up with a QR code on which features in a booklet for the Manx Museum 100 stamp booklet.
Isle of Man Post Office said: ‘These labels appear in our Manx Museum 100 postal booklets and when scanned, direct you to the website of Manx National Heritage. They do not hold any postal value.
‘It is important that in order to ensure your mail reaches its destination and that the recipient is not subject to a surcharge, that it has the correct postal value affixed.’
