Reduced Service for Maintenance
Normal services are due to resume on Friday
Trams won’t run between Laxey and Ramsey on Wednesday and Thursday, with the section closed for maintenance.
Normal services are due to resume on Friday and all timetabled services will run between Douglas and Laxey tomorrow.
Isle of Man Transport said: ‘Due to essential overhead wire repairs in the northern section of the Manx Electric Railway it is necessary for us to close the Laxey to Ramsey section of the line from Wednesday April 12 until Thursday April 13. The section should be open as normal again from Friday 14th April. An update will follow.’
