Returning Parcels Just Got Easier
Seven post offices around the island will use the system.
Isle of Man Post Office has unveiled a new system which should make the hassle of returning parcels easier.
Starting today, the system, will allow customers to print return labels for UK retailers that offer returns via Royal Mail using the unique QR codes provided.
With these new QR scanners a postage label will be printed once the code is scanned at one of the portals, stick it on and hand over you package at the counter or pay the relevant postage for onward dispatch.
Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office Stu Peters said: ‘Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to introduce these new self-service scanners in collaboration with participating independent retailers to enable people to complete online shopping returns quickly and efficiently. We aim to offer our customers increasingly convenient options and as such are pleased to embrace new ways of doing things.’
