Spitfire Flypast This Weekend
Armed Forces Day is on June 17 from 1pm
A spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will fly over the island this weekend for Armed Forces Day.
Celebrating those past and present who serve in the armed forces, Armed Forces Day is on June 17.
The flypast will take place at 4.36pm local time, subject to aircraft serviceability and the infamous Manx weather.
Armed Forces Day 2023 is being held at the Villa Marina from 1pm to 5pm with a parade from Regent Street at 2pm.
There will be children’s entertainment, Veterans’ Charity Stalls, military stands, live music and a complementary afternoon tea in the Villa.
