Summer Transport Festival

Rebecca and the hospitality and events executive officer Charlotte went to the Douglas Bay horse tramway, Derby castle, Douglas and Laxey station.
In Douglas, they met with stable supervisor Neil Wade and discussed how the transport festival has positively affected the horse trams.
Laxey’s station master Mark Edwards told them about how residents and visitors have embraced the Isle of Man’s transport festival.
Also in Laxey, we met with some Australians on holiday from Adelaide who told us about their experience on the Isle of Man so far.
The festival continues this weekend and concludes on Sunday.
