Taking a New Look at Summerland Disaster
The documentary has spoken to those who were there on the night and one of the team who investigated the blaze.
A local media company has unveiled the trailer for its new documentary looking back at the Summerland disaster.
This release comes just one day before the 50th anniversary of the disaster which claimed 50 lives.
As well as survivor Ruth McQuillan-Wilson, 2020 Media has spoken to retired firefighter Godfrey Cain, historian Charles Guard and the only surviving member of the fire investigation team John Webb.
As well as looking at the events of the fire, the documentary is looking back at the decisions and mistakes that led to the worst disaster in Manx history, which occurred just two years after the building opened.
