The announcement, posted to Facebook today, declared: ‘If you’re in Laxey this Sunday, be sure to pop down and relax with coffee, tea, and some cake, or a fresh homemade meal at the Ballacregga Cornmill.

‘We are reopening the doors once again, this time with the same familiar faces you know, new menus, and a whole lot more love!’

They also gave a massive shout-out to Stewart and Barbara Clague, and thanked their loyal customers for sticking with them through thick and thin—kind of like a hearty slice of their famous cake.
