The Young Farmers are Back!

You’ve made it through the longest January since, well the last one, you’re searching for something to look forward, well good news, the Young Farmers Concert tickets go on sale next week!

Coming to the Gaiety Theatre on March 9, 10 and 11, the shows are one of the island’s biggest cultural events of the year.

Last year show’s raised over £25,00 for Project 21 through a bucket collection as we saw Snow Kermode and the Seven Ministers, a reimagining of Shrek, Grease, Dr Allinson’s massive joint and a slightly drunk Scotsman.

The winners were Willie Moore and the Boomwhackers of the Eastern Club, Bryony Kneale and John Kaighen of the Northern Club, Southern’s opening dance and Alexa Appleby of the Northern Club.

The overall winners were Central and Southern.

Tickets go on sale at 8am at the Sea Terminal, with online and phone sales from 10.30am.

This year the Young Farmers are led by an all female committee, under the leadership of chair Nicci Cain.
