Walking in a Rowan Wonderland
Titled Manx Winter Wildlife, the stamps feature some of our island’s amazing wildlife.
A set of rather cool stamps go on sale next week designed by local artist Rowan Corlett.
Titled Manx Winter Wildlife, the stamps feature some of our island’s amazing wildlife.
Featuring a robin, a loaghtan sheep, a mountain hare, a puffin, seal and Manx cat, the stamps are just really amazing and while we don’t normally get excited by stamps (sos Isle of Man Post Office) these are really cool.
Writing on her Facebook page, Rowan said: ‘I am so happy to finally announce what I’ve been working on for the longest time! I have designed the Christmas stamps for the Isle of Man this year! I’ve always wanted to have my drawings on stamps and I feel so lucky that I’ve been able to make this a reality. It’s wonderful to see them as a finished product and I hope that everyone enjoys them.’
The stamps will be on sale across the winter from October 26.
