Wildlife Park on Prime Time TV Tonight

The Curraghs Wildlife Park is heading for prime time tonight, and it’s the silvery gibbons stealing the spotlight.

Springwatch presenter and wildlife photographer Hannah Stitfall paid a visit to the beloved Ballaugh attraction recently to take a look at the conservation work being carried out there.

Her piece will air on BBC One’s The One Show at 7pm this evening (Wednesday).

Sharing the news on social media, the wildlife park said it was ‘privileged’ to welcome Hannah to film a feature on its endangered silvery gibbons and their ‘very special gibbon family’.

The segment will showcase the work being done in the Isle of Man to help protect the rare species.

The park added that the piece was filmed some time ago and they were only just told it would be broadcast tonight, so it’s a bit of a surprise prime-time moment for Ballaugh.
