You Can Get a Free Pint in Peel Tonight
Are you a stout fan? Because we’ve got some good news…
If the answer’s yes, Gef recommends heading down to The Creek in Peel tonight (Tuesday).
From 7pm, the pub will be pouring Caffrey’s Black Stout, and there’s a little incentive to get you through the door.
The first pint is free. Yes, really.
The stout itself is a 3.4% ABV nitrogen-infused Irish-style brew, described by The Creek as ‘rich, smooth and the perfect pint to enjoy by the harbour.’
And let’s be honest, there are worse places to test that theory than Peel on a Tuesday evening.
It’s not just The Creek getting in on the stout action either.
Over in Douglas, Jaks Bar and Smokehouse also launched the stout this week.
They describe it as a ‘distinct black stout with a balanced flavour dominated by roasted malt and cocoa, complemented by a gentle bitterness, caramel notes and a hint of liquorice.’
In other words: dark, smooth and probably worth a try if you like your pints on the stouty side.
There may well be other pubs around the island pouring it too, but we couldn’t ignore the free pint offer in Peel.
Because if there’s one thing Gef likes almost as much as a good pint…
…it’s a free one.
