Douglas Choral Union is back on the Gaiety Theatre stage in February, with a monstrously great production of Young Frankenstein.
The stage adaptation of Mel Brooks’ iconic movie, is on at The Gaiety from February 10 to 18.
With Tony Eccles playing Dr Frederick Frankenstein it’s pronounced Fronkensteen! Leah Carter as Inga the lab assistant, David Lyons as Igor and Lisa Kreisky as Frau Blucher, the show is packed with amazing local talent.
A man determined to shake off his grandfather’s legacy, Frederick is dragged into his mad world and it’s not long before he’s proclaiming ‘It’s Alive!’.
We’ve seen a sneak peek of the cast at work and you really are in for a brilliant night of comedy and music, including the brilliant songs ‘The Brain’, ‘Roll in the Hay’, ‘He Vas My Boyfriend’ and ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’.
