December’s Foodie Roundup
Who doesn’t love a Christmas night-out? If your calendar isn’t already jam-packed with festive goodness, we’ve got some events for you.
NEW RESTAURANTS ALERT
Pizza Napoli
One of the island’s best wood-fired pizza takeaways have opened their sit in restaurant on Prospect Terrace. While we love a Pizza Napoli in front of the telly, we’re very excited for a sit-in experience.
Fyn Bar
We’re partial to a fyn and tonic, and Fynoderee have opened their new Fyn bar in Ramsey. Alongside drinks and cocktails, Fyn bar also offer grazing platters by the The Supper Club which include charcuterie, local cheeses, and bread (pre-booking for the grazing platters is required).
Versa
We all love a Versa event, and we’re delighted that Versa has found a permanent home in Port Erin. There is no permanent menu as Versa uses seasonal, Manx ingredients which are either foraged or locally sourced.

Remember the start of the year? We were all so young and naive. Well Rhodes Brown made a goal to run 2020km this year (which, for context, is about 48 marathons) while aiming to raise a quid a km for the Woodland Trust. While we wouldn’t have blamed him for giving up this year, the legend is only on track to complete his goal! As he aims to complete the challenge on Christmas Eve, Secret Pizza are planning to celebrate his achievements in true Secret Pizza fashion, including music by The Tides.
