It is the third car seized in the past two days.
The Roads Policing Unit have seized another car, this time for being uninsured.
It is the third car seized in the past two days.
Officers stopped the driver of the third car this morning, after spotting they appeared to be using a phone while driving.
The RPU said: ‘The vehicle was stopped and found to be uninsured as well, it has been seized and the driver will appear in court in the future. Some Herbert’s think we are boasting about what we are doing, others just seem to have a bee in their bonnet about us enforcing the law…
‘We are merely showing you we are out and about dealing with people who decide to break the law in the hope that it will make people think twice before they do something daft.’
Yesterday, the RPU seized two cars, one which they said hadn’t been taxed in two years, while the other, a 4×4 towing a trailer, was seized pending an inspection at the Test Centre.
