Africa House in ‘Dangerous Condition’
If anyone has any information about the fire they are asked to contact the CID department at Police Headquarters
The Police are urging people to stay out of the grounds of Africa House.
Investigations into the fire, which the Constabulary has said it is treating as ‘suspicious’, are continuing.
In an update this evening, the Police said: ‘Further to a previous press release, Police and IOM Fire Service are continuing to investigate the fire at Africa House, Douglas. We would strongly urge the public not to enter the grounds of the property or the property itself as it is now deemed to be in a dangerous condition. Workman will be on the site erecting barriers and boarding to prevent access.
