“Car Chase” Was Training Exercise

The Police have said that a video purporting to show a car chase near Pulrose Power Station was a training exercise.

A widely shared video appeared to show a police car chasing a Ford Focus past the Power Station towards Pulrose Bridge.

The video shows the unmarked car being followed by two police 4x4s with an officer using a stinger nearby.

However, a police spokesperson said that it was ‘part of a’ training exercise under controlled conditions and not involving members of the public’.
