Crews Respond to Two Vehicle Crash

Emergency services this morning responded to a report of people trapped following a two vehicle RTC at the junction of Cronk Ny Mona and Jonny Wattersons Lane.

The fire service made the vehicles safe and provided initial care to the occupants before assisting them from their vehicles.

Earlier today, a sprinkling of snow on the mountain and freezing temperatures had led to some icy patches. Elsewhere the Ballamodha was shut.

The crash had caused significant backups on the road coming down from the Mountain, but the police didn’t provide any info about whether it had been closed or not.
