Crews Tackle Barn Blaze
An update will be released later today.
Fire crews worked through the night to bring a barn fire in the west of the island under control.
The blaze, in the area of Staarvey Road, outside Peel, was attended by fire crews from Douglas, Peel and Kirk Michael.
It was just after 8pm on Monday evening when the police said there was a fire in the area, with the constabulary asking the public to stay away from the area.
The fire, which could be seen from the surrounding hills, appears to have gutted the barn in a video shared by the fire service.
Just after 5am this morning fire crews said the incident had been brought to a close and that more information will be released later today.
