John’s 50 Years of Service

Peel RNLI stalwart John Teare has been honoured with a long service medal for his 50 years with Peel Lifeboat Station.
He was presented with the medal by Peel Lifeboat chairman Stuart Blackley.
During these five decades John has focussed his talents and charm on our vital fundraising efforts.
One of the highlights of his 14 years as chairman was welcoming the arrival of the station’s Mersey class All-Weather Lifeboat ‘Ruby Clery’ in 1992.
The station said: ‘Thank you, John, for your valuable service to your fellow volunteers and for your continuing dedication to the RNLI’s lifesaving mission.’
