The Fire and Rescue Service has welcomed its newest recruits and congratulated them on completing their introduction to firefighting basics.
Lee Stennett and Jamie Kirkham completed their introduction at Douglas Fire Station.
They will soon be heading to Hampshire for an intense 18 week training program to become fully qualified firefighters.
Lee was previously a Lighting Crew Chief and Jamie worked for an insurance company.
Both recruits were selected from the last talent pool. If you are interested in becoming a Firefighter, the service is currently looking for whole time and retained candidates.
