Prom Reopens
Police have reopened the rest of the road and pavement which was closed late last night into this morning.
A small section of the pavement outside the Palace Hotel remains closed this morning after a serious incident overnight.
Police have reopened the rest of the road and pavement which was closed late last night into this morning.
A statement said: ‘Central Promenade is now fully reopened to vehicular traffic. A short section of pavement in the vicinity of the Palace Hotel remains closed to pedestrians. Businesses will be unaffected and open as usual. Thank you for your patience.’
The Constabulary has also asked people not to speculate on the incident.
Gef understands an update is expected later today.
