Road Reopens After Crash

The New Castletown Road has reopened following the crash at the junction with Mount Murray earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to the junction after reports of a two vehicle crash at about 8.20am.

The fire service said its crews had ‘ensured the vehicle was made safe before assisting the occupant from the vehicle for further assessment and treatment’.

The road had remained closed while the police conducted crash investigations.
