Woof Top Rescue!

A curious canine found themselves in a ruff spot earlier today after getting stuck on the roof of a house on Woodbourne Road, prompting a swift rescue from Douglas firefighters.

Douglas fire crews were called out on Thursday to help the adventurous pooch, who had somehow made their way onto the rooftop and decided it was a great spot for a bit of sunbathing (or perhaps a better view).

Thankfully, the firefighters at Douglas Station were on hand to carry out a safe rescue, and the dog is absolutely fine – just a little windswept and collarless.

The canine is now in the capable hands of Milan Vets on Somerset Road while they wait for their human to come forward.
