Dr Matty Enters Big Brother House

One of the UK’s most controversial TV shows made its return last night complete with a bit of Manx flair.

Matty Simpson, 24, a doctor from the north of the island has joined the other contestants in the Big Brother House.

Speaking before going into the house he said: ‘I remember watching Big Brother and I could see myself in all these characters from a cross section of society, and I thought like, oh, maybe I would fit in there. So I just always wanted to apply.’

In his intro video he added: ‘I love to do something called ecstatic dancing, which is going out and dancing under the moon and the stars, howling, going crazy, tops off, it makes you feel euphoric. To me hippie means total freedom, to travel, to work, to love, to eat from a bin, to do anything.’
