Move over Glastonbury – Richmond Hill is Rising

The Full Moon Festival is back for its third year, and organiser Scotty Bradshaw isn’t messing about.

He’s aiming to make it the second-biggest event on the Isle of Man after the TT — and frankly, we’re here for it.

Taking place from 27–29 June in a scenic spot on Richmond Hill, Full Moon has grown from a grassroots good-time gathering into one of the island’s most vibey weekends.

Think six music zones, saunas in vans, glamping, yoga with a hangover, and DJs who know what they’re doing.

‘It might look like chaos,’ says Scotty, ‘but it’s all planned to the minute.’

‘I want this to become the biggest event on the Isle of Man after TT. That’s exactly what I want.

‘That’s that’s the goal I had from day one. And we are getting there!’

This year’s headliners include OK Computer (a Radiohead tribute) and none other than DJ Yousef — a proper dance music legend who’s been lured to our shores despite rarely playing the North West these days.

And while Full Moon has always championed Manx music legends (looking at you, Clash War), Scotty’s also turning his gaze UK-ward, hoping to boost off-island ticket sales and become a true destination fest.

Wellness is back in a big way too — expect ice baths with the Manx Iceman, saunas from River Sea and Morning Momentum, and more yoga than a Goop retreat.

There’s even an 80s-themed aerobics class for 200 people.

There’s also a brand-new Full Moon podcast, hosted by Scotty himself.

First guest? Olympic cyclist and music nut Peter Kennaugh. Future guest? Hopefully Rick Astley, if Scotty gets his dream lineup.
