Aggressive Seagull at Hospital
Due to the bird’s protected status, there is very little that can be done
Manx Care says a seagull that has been acting aggressively outside the Day Assessment Treatment Unit is protecting its young.
The health services has recommend people be mindful of this if you are in the area of the Diabetes Centre and DATU.
Manx Care said: ‘Due to the bird’s protected status, there is very little that we can do to resolve the situation, other than making colleagues and patients/service users aware. The MSPCA have been called for advice and they have suggested carrying an umbrella for protection – please do so if you can.’
