Bunch of Fuchsias

Police in the north of the island are investigating after the theft of plants from outside the Mountain View Innovation Centre.

The theft is said to have occurred between December 23 2022 and January 2 2023.

Officers from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team said that a ‘significant number of infant Fuchsia plants have been uprooted and stolen from atop a number of sod banks’ at the centre on the Jurby Road.

They added: ‘These Fuchsias had recently been planted, and the reasoning behind why any person would remove the same, in the manner in which they have, is currently unknown. Ramsey Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this theft, and are keen to speak with any persons who may have information relating to the same.’
