The brilliant Manx food & folklore podcast has been nominated for the best audio of 2023 in the enormously prestigious Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards.

The series of c.45minute-long podcasts covering moots, skeddan and loaghtan were released in the latter half of last year and are all available online here: https://culturevannin.im/…/blasstal-a-food–folklore…/

As Culture Vannin says: ‘Anyone who has has listened to the episodes will know how interesting and informative they are, whilst also being a wonderful and enjoyable listen.

‘It should not come as a surprise that they would be nominated alongside some enormous names for this enormous award. We couldn’t be more excited for Lucy Dearlove & Katie Callin and we wish them the best of luck when the awards come round.

‘Culture Vannin is extremely proud to have supported the Blasstal podcast, which is doing a wonderful job in celebrating Manx food, folklore and culture and bringing it to new audiences far and wide. Jeant dy mie, Lucy & Katie!’
