MWT Taking Over Village Green

Manx Wildlife Trust is holding a series of events in Onchan this summer with the aim of bringing the community together in the great outdoors.

The Onchan Green Summer Season is an assortment of free events that get underway this Thursday.

Organised by the Onchan Wetlands Community Group, The Onchan Green Summer Season celebrates getting outdoors with a series of open-air performances and events. Located on the village green, this assortment of events will make the most of the bright and pleasant summer evenings.

The first event on Thursday will have music from Shoh Slaynt and a chance to look inside the historic Molly Carooin’s Cottage from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Thursday June 29 will see music from The Shanties, July 6 has yoga with Howard Caine followed by nature-based mindfulness led by Adam Denard.

July 13 will see music from Sean Crossley and the season concludes with a keep fit class with Liz Corran.
