Manx Wildlife Trust has been testing its underwater filming equipment and given an insight to life below the surface at Derbyhaven.
The drop down camera and baited remote underwater video were lowered into the seagrass and even at shallow depth, the pictures are fascinating.
MWT’s CEO Leigh Morris and marine officer Dr Lara Howe modelled the work on the example of Alderney Wildlife Trust.
He said: ‘We are looking forward to expanding our research thanks to the funding from KPMG in the Crown Dependencies.’
