Extra Police in Port Erin Today and Tomorrow

If you’re wandering around Port Erin today (Wednesday) or tomorrow, don’t panic if you spot a few more blue uniforms than usual, the Isle of Man Constabulary are just running some training exercises.

Student Constables will be taking part in a series of mock scenarios under the watchful eyes of the Training Team, which means you might see officers practicing their moves, investigating pretend crimes, or just looking very official while learning the ropes.

There’s absolutely no cause for concern, it’s all part of planned training to help the next generation of Manx police officers get ready for real-life action.

So, keep calm, carry on, and maybe give a friendly wave if you see a trainee looking a bit too serious, they’ll probably appreciate it!
