FC Isle of Man is inviting players aged 16 to 22 to register for an open training session.

The club says it is important that it can identify and work with the very best young footballers on the island.

Held at the Bowl at the end of TT, the session will give players the opportunity to not only showcase their footballing and personal qualities but also get to know the club and hear more about the levels of commitment and motivation required to play at Step 5 and beyond.

A club statement said: ‘Although we believe we have a good level of knowledge about the players coming through, we are very aware that we do not know everything and we probably have some blind spots. The Open Training Session will hopefully take those blind spots away.

‘Young footballers, who are resident in the Isle of Man, and believe they have what it takes to become a Raven can now register for the Open Training Session taking place on June 13 (7:45-10pm) at the Bowl.’
