Ravens Readying for Final Game of 2023
There are a number of forced changes to the squad

FC Isle of Man’s final game of 2023 sees Burscough visiting the Bowl, with the Ravens hoping to bring the curtain down on a middling sort of year.
Paul Jones’ side have lost their last four games, a run that has seen them slide to 15th in the table, 13 points behind the play-off spots.
The last time the teams met the Ravens won 3-2 away in Lancashire, with Sean Doyle and Jack McVey adding to an own goal to secure the points.
Looking ahead to the game, Jack McVey makes a welcome return, with the home fans no doubt hoping he will bring a calming presence to a team that has look a bit lost in recent weeks.
As for the visitors, they are languishing in 22nd, having lost three of their last six, including a 4-3 loss to Skelmersdale United, who are seeking to carry out the great escape under manager Pascal Chimbonda. However, that game is now under investigation after reports that Skelmersdale fielded an ineligible player.

Ravens fans will be pleased to hear that keeper Ben Wilkinson has recovered well after being withdrawn in the warm up last week as a precaution, he is therefore once again named in the squad.
