Watch: A Timelapse Video Shows How To Get To The New Ferry Terminal
The new Liverpool ferry terminal is said to be a brief stroll from its previous location. Yet, many are wondering why it remains challenging to locate both on foot and in a vehicle.
To prevent anyone from getting stranded and lost, Gef decided that producing a time-lapse video would be the most effective way to show the actual journey from the old terminal to the new one.
For many of us Manxies, the trip back home via the old Pier Head terminal has become second nature. The iconic Liver Birds almost serve as beacons, guiding us to ensure we never stray and miss our ferry home!
So what about the new facility at Prince’s Half-Dock which opened at the end of June?
Some notable landmarks that Gef encountered on the journey, which you might find helpful, include:
- Prince’s Parade is the first signpost you’ll encounter if you follow the road along the docks.
- Be on the lookout for any large ships at the Cruise terminal; their presence means you’re on the correct path. After you pass the Crowne Plaza hotel, you’re halfway to your destination.
- Watch for the ‘LW1’ bus, as it services the new terminal, indicating you’re getting closer. At this point, the terminal should come into view.
Remember to look back on this video if you ever get stuck!
You can always rely on Gef.
