‘Catch Up Campaign’ Begins for Those who Missed MMR Vaccine

Did you miss your MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine?

If so, DON’T PANIC.

Manx Care has teamed up with Public Health to produce a ‘catch-up’ campaign for people up to the age of 25 who missed their vaccine.

It comes as part of a drive to protect Island residents from becoming seriously unwell, as measles cases continue to rise in the UK.

The campaign is encouraging all parents and carers of children aged 12 months to five years to make an appointment with their GP practice if their child has not received a first or second dose of the MMR vaccine.

Children and young people aged 6-25 years who are not fully protected are also eligible for the catch-up campaign to get their vaccine, which will also be administered at your GP.
