Staff at Noble’s Hospital are celebrating Healthcare Science Week (9–15 March) with a special display highlighting the vital work of Healthcare Scientists.

The display, located in the foyer of the hospital’s main entrance, is on show for the remainder of the week and aims to raise awareness of the important role these professionals play in supporting patient care across the island.

Healthcare Scientists work behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the health system, using their expertise in areas such as cardiology and respiratory care to aid timely diagnoses and deliver high-quality care to patients.

Staff from the Cardiorespiratory Suite D at Noble’s Hospital showcased the display.

Representing the cardiology team were Claire Rowley and Olivia Watson, while Sonia Rowe and Bev Gray represented the respiratory team.

Manx Care said Healthcare Science Week is an opportunity to recognise the specialist skills of professionals whose work often goes unseen but is essential to patient outcomes.

Visitors to the hospital are encouraged to view the display throughout the week and learn more about the careers and contributions of Healthcare Scientists.
