Hospital’s Plea for Nurses

Manx Care is asking any registered nurses to help provide cover at Noble’s Hospital today.

In a post on Facebook the health provider said it was seeing a high level of sickness in staff.

Manx Care said: ‘If any Registered Nurses are available to work tomorrow (January 2 2023) at Noble’s Hospital, please can you call Switchboard as soon as possible to confirm your availability (01624 650000). We’re struggling with staffing levels due to high levels of sickness – your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!’

We also understand that a message has been sent out to some care workers asking them to work at the hospital as health care assistants.
