Businesses have united to support each other
Business owners Greig Davison and Claire Christian created a support group on Facebook for local businesses to share practical tips, advice and general support. They are also lobbying IoM government for appropriate support in live streamed sessions ✊There are some generous members of the group, sharing skills, resources and ideas for the greater good. Shoprite stores across the Island have announced dedicated shopping hours for the elderly. Tell your Nans, Grans and neighbours that they can avoid the hoarders on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; 8am – 9am. EVF are also helping to reach the elderly with a new delivery service.And both are hiring, so get in touch with them if your current employment is compromised.
Robinsons launch care pack delivery service
The heroes up on Cooil Road are working around the clock to keep food supplies coming in. On top of that, they are now also offering care packages to those in the community who are aged 70 and over; those in self-isolation and NHS emergency workers.
