GUYS! It’s November! We’ve dived headfirst into the 11th month of the year, seriously tho – wasn’t it just June?!October was filled with some gloriously autumnal days, and QUITE A FEW POSITIVES. Here’s your Good News round up for the Isle…

George Blackwell

Last month, George completed his (second!) 12-day challenge to raise awareness of male suicide. George set himself the task of cycling 84 miles a day, consecutively for 12 days straight – and he absolutely smashed it!The numbers here are SO important, as they represent the 84 men a week (or 12 males every day) that commit suicide in the UK. To date, he’s raised an INCREDIBLE £12,000 for the mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)Huge congrats George, from all of the team at Gef ❤️If you’d like to donate to George’s cause, you can do so here.

The Peaky Finders

You may remember back in August we covered the story of ‘The Peaky Finders‘, 6 local lads who decided to raise a load of money for various charities on the Island. They went on to complete the Three Peak Challenge in the UK within a V impressive 24 hours! They dropped us a message recently to say the total funds raised was a WHOPPING £9,000. Amazing work guys! The Peaky Finders
